The C. W. Parker Carousel Museum staff will provide support and assistance for the school electing to conduct educational tours at the museum. These special education activities includes lessons in the classroom, a field trip to the Museum, tour of facilities and displays, culminated by a fantastic ride on the restored C. W. Parker Wooden Carousel, serial no, 118, built in 1913.

A comprehensive Teacher’s Education Package is provided with:

1. - Sample lesson plans.
   History / Language Arts (3rd to 5th / 6th Grade Elementary), Math, Science, (5th – 7th grade), and many others.
2. – C. W. Parker Carousel & Museum History reference material.
3. – Worksheets and Reference Information

The date/time of the field trip with onsite briefing and tour and the carousel ride can be scheduled with the Museum staff at a time that is convenient for the school and museum.

Field trip costs for the Briefing, Tour of the Museum with the Carousel ride will be $3.00 per student. Teachers and aides will be provided with complimentary tickets.
